Angel's Gate has been renting a home on
100 acres in Delhi, NY. We were forced to find a new home in the event
that we loose the ongoing zoning battle with the Town of Smithtown
spurred on by a handful of neighbors. Though we won the first round in
court, The Town of Smithtown has made it clear that Angel's Gate is not
welcomed there.
We much prefer to focus our energies on
helping the needy animals in our care rather than battling with mean
spirited Town officials and neighbors. So, we have decided to make Angel's
Gate's new home in Delhi.
We need your help. By JUNE 17 we must
make a commitment to purchase or leave Delhi. We are working on different
financial possibilities but the current atmosphere in the mortgage
industry makes it very difficult.
Victor and I have exhausted all of or
funds to keep Angel's Gate viable till now. Delhi has welcomed Angel's
Gate with open arms. Here we can go green and grow as an organization.

In the future we hope to build a
state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in honor of Joyce Dennehy, who has
donated our underwater treadmill. We want to build a "McAngels House" so
that families can stay with their animals while being rehabilitated. We
will build an education center and a low cost spay and neuter clinic as
well. But those are future dreams.
We
need your help to build the foundation for those dreams. We will do this
"brick by brick". We are starting over and we are asking you to be a part
of Angel's Gate's New Beginnings. You will be hearing more about our Brick
by Brick Campaign in the near future.
If we are to continue our good work we
need your help NOW. We humbly ask
you to be as generous as you can.
Namaste,
Susan Marino
