A portion of Store proceeds goes to support the animals at Angel's Gate

10/13/06 : It has been reported to us that Angel's Gate was discussed on Whoopi Goldberg's "WAKE UP WITH WHOOPI " morning radio show. She has a regular segment when she asks "Now Tell me Some Good News" and Angel's Gate's and our work with special needs animals and it's provision of hospice care for animals was the "Good News" of the day. Several people have called to tell us of the show. One came to begin volunteering on a regular bases. 11/15/03 a segment on Angel's Gate was aired on CBS. That day we received 100,000 hits to our web site and made many new friends. We are grateful to CBS and especially to Debbie Turner who did such a fine job putting it all together.
Animal hospice care and rehabilitation have sparked the public's interest. As the pioneer of residential hospice care and animal rehabilitation, Angel's Gate has received nation wide acclaim and media attention: 6/30/03 PEOPLE MAGAZINE printed a full page article about Angel' Gate. Susan was the "Hero of the Week" on CBS News and an "Every Day Hero" in News Day in conjunction with Adelphi University. Victor and Susan were acknowledged as "People Making a Difference" on Channel 12 News Long Island. They were featured on Fox 5 News and the WB11 News Show in New York City. 3/4/01 Angel's Gate was the front page feature article in Long Island's News Day's Section 2, written by Denise Flaim. 7/21/02 The Sunday New York Times, in an article by Marcel Fischler told of the Angel's Gate story. The Chicago Daily Herald, Lexington Times, Washington Times, Smithtown Messenger and many local papers have noted our work.
